RMS Environmental Monitoring Buoy
The Rice RMS Environmental Monitoring Buoy (EMB) is a rugged, low-cost buoy that can accommodate virtually any Rice or third-party environmental monitoring equipment. Easily deployed by a single person, the EMB can be used for aquaculture, water quality monitoring and/or engineering applications.

Due to it’s unique construction, the Aluminum Monitoring Housing can be extended up to 48” to safely accommodate a variety of monitoring sensors and depths. The instrumentation is inserted through the hinged well cap and hung in the central shaft. If you need to deploy in navigable waters, it comes with a self-contained flashing beacon.
