Mobile D-P Rock Head

The Mobile D-P cutterhead is constructed of high tensile steel and has milled surfaces to ensure accurate bit alignment. Each shank is keyed and welded securely to the head. Tough, carbide insert bits are induction brazed for smoother, faster cutting and up to 70% longer life in the hardest formations. D-P Rock heads are recommended for use in soft shales, soft limestone and other low compressive strength rocks. Assembly part number includes full set of bits and bit punch. Sizes are identified by the hole size, not actual flight diameter.
