Recommended Uses:
May be used for all types of freshwater mud rotary drilling.
Other uses include Pond construction repair in ponds. Bentonite hydrates to 3x original size and fills in cracks and crevasses, sealing up the leaks and stop excessive water seepage. Bentonite Gel can also be applied in 1 - 2 pounds per square foot surface at the pond bottom (more in areas over 1 foot deep). This layer is then covered in several inches of soil. Once hydrated, the bentonite layer creates a protective barrier preventing seepage.
